Dr Tom Edgeley is an experienced dentist joining our team in May 2024, all the way from New Zealand!
Tom received his dental degree from University of Otago in 2009. He assisted the region’s oral and maxillofacial surgeons in the operating room and treated patients all over Northland in outreach clinics. He then spent several years working in private practice in Wellington before moving to Europe and backpacking his way through several countries over 5 years. He came back with a couple of new languages under his belt and a few good stories. Since then Tom has served as a Community Dentist With Paediatric Focus at Northland District Health Board and also held positions at Royal College of Surgeons of England, as well as positions in private dental clinics in Auckland.
Tom’s main goal is that every patient feels at ease, listened to, and understands their mouth and their treatment plan… which is all about communication.
With a special interest in cosmetic injectables, and paediatric dentistry, Tom brings his energy and warming nature to our practice and looks forward to meeting all our patients.
