Our practice principal Dr Daniel Andrews is a local boy through and through, attending Williamstown and Westbourne Grammar schools, duxing almost every year. He entered Dentistry at University of Melbourne straight from highschool and graduated with honours in 2000, including a Prosthodontics scholarship in his final year. He gained valuable clinical experience working at several clinics all over Melbourne, before joining this practice in early 2011.

He is actively involved in continuing education and furthering his knowledge of materials and techniques, with a keen interest in the newest technologies and gadgets.

He is a full member of the Australasian Sleep Association, with a special interest in the use of Mandibular Advancement splints for the treatment of snoring and sleep apnea.  He has strong relationships with many Sleep Physicians in Melbourne and served on the working party for Accreditation for Dental Sleep Medicine.. He is also a long term member of both the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and  the International Team for Implantology (ITI) , and is co-chair of the Inner West Study ITI group.  He is experienced at surgical wisdom teeth extraction, and all aspects of general dentistry.

He is a founder of dental laboratory 3DGuard, which has pioneered the way for using 3D scanning and printing  technology for Mouthguards, and is a provider for many professional AFL clubs. He also worked closely with HITIQ to develop processes to place microchips to measure concussion impacts inside sports Mouthguards.

His calming and laid back manner has ensured his patients always feel comfortable, and he appreciates the loyalty of many patients who have followed him from practice to practice over the years. Growing up and currently residing in the Williamstown area, Dan is pleased to be an active member of his local community, and actively supports other local businesses and clubs at every opportunity.  By a turn of fate, the Altona North clinic is also directly across from his first ever workplace, McDonalds, where he worked through high school and University!

Outside of dentistry he loves to explore his creativity through guitar playing, renovating, up cycling materials into furniture and art, exercising at the gym, watching AFL and spending time with his beloved dog George.
