Immediate dentures are made before your extraction and fitted on the same day the teeth are removed — so there’s no period of being without teeth. This requires a few visits beforehand for planning and fabrication, but on the day of your extraction, your dentist removes the teeth and your prosthetist fits the denture in the same appointment. It’s one of the real advantages of having an in-house prosthetist working alongside your treating dentist.
